HOACGA Souvenir History
Heart of America Carnival Association (HOACGA) has commissioned souvenirs to help the club raise funds to support the continued education of carnival glass. The souvenirs were typically sold at the annual conventions, and were ordered in limited quantities.
The list of the souvenirs , by year, with the name of the maker (company) is below:

1975 Red Tumblers for 1974 Pitcher Maker – Indiana Glass Co.
1976 Red Whiskey Decanter & 6 Shot Glasses Maker – Fenton Art Glass Co.
1977 Red Hatpin Holder, 2 Hatpins Maker – Smith Glass Co.
1978 Red Corn Vase Maker – Fenton Art Glass Co.
1979 Red Loving Cup Maker – Fenton Art Glass Co.
1980 Ice Green Hatpin Holder Maker – Fenton Art Glass Co.
1981 Red Candle Lamp Maker – Fenton Art Glass Co.
1982 Ice Blue Corn Vase Maker – Fenton Art Glass Co.
This Corn Vase was not a good seller so the remaining vases were returned to the Fenton factory and the Horseshoe had a gold gilding applied to it. Several of these did not sell either. The unsold was returned to Fenton and light amethyst stain was applied to the vase. So, the Ice Blue Corn Vase can be found with three different things that was applied in order to sell all of the vases.

Frank L. Fenton and John L. Fenton were brothers and Frank M. Fenton was the Son of Frank L. Fenton.

1991 Red Peacock & Dahlia 6” Plate Maker – Fenton Art Glass Co.
This was an original Fenton pattern – the back pattern was the Imperial Glass Co. “Lustre Rose pattern.
